MasterChef - Ballarini present the new Original Series collection

Sturdy, gritty design, a good selection of shapes and sizes that are also ideal for induction hobs: these are the ingredients of the new Original Series collection of non‐ stick pans by Ballarini for MasterChef.

Specifically designed for specialist retail outlets, this collection boasts all the qualities associated with the famous television format, as suggested by its name.

For non‐professionals attempting to become famous chefs, the importance of appropriate cooking utensils cannot be underestimated. A factor to take into account even on a daily basis, translated here into a sense of belonging characterised by a need for products with excellent technical and aesthetic properties.

Original Series is the first collection produced by Ballarini under the MasterChef brand, a broad range of products designed to satisfy the needs of an informed and passionate public.

The collection comprises six different sizes of frying pans (20/24/26/28/30/32 cm), 3 high‐sided pans with handles measuring 16, 20 and 24 cm, two low‐sided pans measuring 24 and 28 cm, a 28 cm steak griddle and a 28 cm wok.

All the pieces in the collection bear the MasterChef brand.

MasterChef

MasterChef is the thrilling, must‐see TV series, based on a format devised by Franc Roddam, which features excellent non‐professional chefs whose talent, dedication and love of food could change their lives forever. In the United Kingdom, nine series of the reworked version of MasterChef, eight series of Celebrity MasterChef, six series of MasterChef: The Professionals and two series of Junior MasterChef, produced by Shine TV, have been aired since 2005. The original British version has been an ongoing success with the most recent ninth series shown on BBC1 attracting over 6.5 million viewers in its final stages. The format has enjoyed unprecedented success all over the world, topping the ratings in many countries, including, recently, the United States. The most competitive cooking competition on TV has become a global hit, produced in over 44 countries and broadcast in over 200 countries worldwide. The MasterChef Italia audience has increased by 37% since the first season in 2011 and the second series was Sky Uno's most watched programme in 2012. The three judges returned for the third series that started in December 2013 and a series of MasterChef Junior has also been commissioned and will be broadcast in March 2014.
