Ballarini Professionale 2800 Series: innovation meets ease of use

The Ballarini Professionale 2800 Series is proving popular among those in the industry that recognise the distinctive qualities of this collection. Developed with the aim of satisfying the specific needs of professional cooks, the 2800 Series boasts the Kerastone Profi Granite non-stick coating, the first non-stick coating strengthened with mineral particles which guarantee a drier cooking process, similar to cooking directly on stone. In fact, technical tests have shown that Kerastone Profi Granite guarantees perfect searing at low temperatures, the optimum condition for conserving the nutritional qualities of foods in the absence of liquids. “To cook meat well on the outside while sealing in all of the juices that make it so succulent – explains Alessandro Ballarini, head of the Ballarini Professionale wing of the company – we often cook it on a barbecue or in an iron pan at temperatures as high as 400°C. Thanks to the 2800 Line's granite coating, cooks can now achieve the same results working at 200°C, and therefore using a healthier cooking process. Moreover, they can also obtain the same end results in less time and without smoke." Kerastone Profi Granite is the product of nanotechnologies developed by the Ballarini R&D Department which, as the symbol on the product packaging states, carries out quality controls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. But the advantages don't end here: the thick pure aluminium body, the heatproof stainless steel handle and the standard depth ensure that the range is sturdy and easy to use. The 2800 Series represents an original new solution for the hospitality channel and completes the Ballarini Professionale non-stick range. “At Host many high-profile chefs and professionals from the food industry were involved in a series of events created to illustrate the correct way of using the three Ballarini Professionale coatings - continues Alessandro Ballarini. Each of these has specific qualities and, therefore, different applications: the non-stick coating with mineral particles is the ideal alternative to an iron pan or grill, the white coating is recommended for delicate cooking processes where it is important to keep a close eye on the colour of the foods to ensure they are perfectly cooked, while the black non-stick coating is suitable for traditional cooking or refinements such as sautéing.
