Iron

Iron is a material with low thermal conductivity but one which is highly popular in the kitchen, especially for cooking meat and fried foods. Iron is recommended for use when high cooking temperatures must be reached.
Iron is not suitable for use in the dishwasher as it tends to rust easily when it comes in contact with water.
